Group Therapy
If you’re looking to make changes in the way you relate to others, then an Interpersonal Process Group may be the ideal service for you. We facilitate a safe and supportive environment where 6 to 10 people collectively explore their styles of communicating and learn about themselves in a social context. The focus here is both on content (what is being discussed) and process (how the discussion transpires), and the therapists listen to both the “words” and the “music” of the conversation, in order to promote each group member's growth.
As we go about our daily lives, we are constantly impacted by others and are, in turn, making an impact on them. But rarely do we stop to reflect on these interactions and learn from them. This is exactly what happens during group therapy. The group, thus, becomes a safe haven for learning about yourself as a social being, giving you the chance to apply this knowledge to your relationships more broadly.
